Our research proves that instinct is wrong. Across 840+ verification runs and 360 evaluations of 20 public companies, we found that single-model self-check varies by up to 9.6:1 on the same document depending on which model performs the review. You cannot use the same mechanism you distrust to verify itself.

The solution is independence and adversarial structure. GauntletScore submits every document to seven AI agents drawn from four independent providers — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI — across four rounds of structured debate. The agents don't collaborate toward consensus. They challenge each other's findings, demand evidence from authoritative databases, and force disagreements into the open. When agents cannot reach a consistent verdict on a claim, the system returns INCONCLUSIVE — an explicit acknowledgment of uncertainty rather than a false confidence score. Disagreement is the feature.
